Apr. 3rd, 2008 09:49 pmThe responsibility falls upon me to make a most unpleasant announcement. Late, to say the least, and more ... conventional news sources have certainly began to spread it already. In addition, there's been enough vague mention on these pages that I can see that anyone truly interested would have pieced it all together by now, but ... there is something to be said for formality and due process.
The Lady Westa and I are all that remains of the great House Atsir. My mother, Laeleena, passed away on the evening of the twenty-third of March. In the week before this, she saw the deaths of many of her heirs ... my sisters, Azshara, Arsele, and Daerielle, and my brother, Darz. Her husband and my father, Lord Arstin, is not dead, but ... he may as well be. All of this is tragic, but like the Phoenix that we once we represented by in times long past, House Atsir will rise from the ashes.
Lady Westa is now the matriarch of the House, but in her absence, I sit in Cleraine. Neither of us have any doubts for the future. I will support my sister however she sees fit as she brings House Atsir into a new era.
Thank you for your time.

I turn to you all in the absence of Lord Lawrence.
I believe there is something that we should discuss.
