I am ... truly going to miss you, sister. No matter how everything turned out in the end, it's been a joy working side by side with you after all those years of letters. I'm not precisely looking forward to trading in our new bond and resuming the old one ... ah, but of course, there's no option. And now I'm simply retreading paths we've walked over and over these last weeks. I'll spare us both.
I hope you're not terribly angry at me for throwing you to the lions with the Queen. I thought it ... ah, better, all things considered, for her to dislike you a little more than to gain such a poor impression of me. If I am to become King-Consort of Atsiria, I am going to have a difficult enough time without that.
... ahah, and see how I already begin to write as if we're engaging in correspondance? How quickly do we fall back on old ways ...

Travel ...
I've never had much opportunity before, now have I? The occassional priviledge of Dragonback for the most important events in Razen hardly compares to falling into step with a nomad tride and riding across the desert, now does it?
New experiences are going to be abundant in my immediate future, it would seem. It's been a long time since I've learned new tricks.
Surely I'm not apprehensive. Surely not ...
I'm going to sit on the Council in Razen. Joseph Eshene. A dream come true, is it not?
