I saw that look.
She was mostly shocked, completely thrown off her feet at the sight of me. But there was a touch of something else, around her mouth, in the way her eyes flashed when they met mine.
What is that saying. Hell hath no fury? She certainly hasn't grown any less embittered over it all since I left Cleraine. All it would take is the smallest thing to turn her into the sort of force I absolutely cannot deal with.
She's more than a threat, she's a danger.
I'll need to do exactly what Westa suggested, and the seeds need to be sown as soon as possible, before Karlesta gets her hooks into the Queen and ruins all my prospects.
