Ahah, I'm afraid that I'm compelled the join the legions of those who have complained of travel in the desert. One would think that as an Atsirian native, I'm immune to most of the discomforts, but it seems that life in the city never prepares one for the rural equivalent, here, especially.
The tribe who agreed to take me to Razen has very little patience for my complaints, I'm afraid. Their leader seems especially unfond of me. I suppose she sees me as nothing more than a particularly soft man seeking to drag her people down into my weakness with me. But, ah, I wouldn't dare complain of her. I have a feeling that her respect for what I represent is making her censor herself considerably as it is, so rather than be frustrated at her curtness, I will be grateful for her grace.
But that doesn't mean it isn't wearing, and that I don't feel rather silly.
I won't be disappointed when we reach Razen.
